A squadron of F-84 Thunderjets flies in formation over the New York International Airport at Idlewild, N.Y., the largest in the world. They are from the 14th Fighter Group which is based in Bangor, Me. They flew to New York for the International Air Exposition which celebrates the opening of the 4,900-acre airport.
